Hylia throws Wild and Warriors in the middle of a bokoblin camp where Wild gets a concussion (?) and while trying to fend off the monsters and keep Wild safe, Wind appears out of nowhere, somehow manages to carry a heavy claymore, and swings at the monsters by balancing his weight and the claymore's weight and spinning around. The thing is, he doesn't know how to stop spinning and ends up flinging the claymore into the unstable walls of a cave behind them, and it collapses atop them, crushing Wind's spine, Warriors' foot, and Wild's light.

He's been the captain's backup and shadow since the war, and it leaves him awful uneasy letting the man go off alone, especially after the last time that happened.
