Summary
It was just meant to be a simple boat trip, a day trip with him and Rogue to go see some dolphins and other marine life. He hadn’t signed up for a fucking storm. He already hated the ocean, hated how mysterious and vast it was, hated how many secrets it held. It was too unpredictable for his liking.
What he didn’t expect was what he’d find on that trip, what he’d encounter, nor how it’d impact the rest of his life. But as he heard that sickly sweet tune fill his ears, he couldn’t help but feel entranced.

Or, the five chapter story of how one Logan Howlett encounters and befriends(???) Wade, a siren he happens to meet under not so great circumstances.

Summary
Logan hasn’t celebrated any kind of holiday since Wade’s birthday, and even then it was pure coincidence he was even there for it. He doesn’t willingly participate in holidays, not since the X-Men. Not Christmas, not New Years either. In the 2 months he’s been living with Wade, he’s only celebrated one holiday, and this is no different when Wade starts to celebrate Opposite Day. He tries his best to ignore Wade and his stupid antics, but then he starts to think about all the things Wade has been saying and doing, and suddenly this holiday is all he can think about.
Or, Logan struggles to figure out what Wade is trying to communicate on Opposite Day, leading to a devastating miscommunication between the two.

Summary
After Logan moved in, Wade expected things to get better. But as days passed into weeks, Logan was growing distant and turning more to the bottle.
It was starting to piss Wade off, actually. He’d offered him a home. A broken, stinky, narcotic filled home, but a home nonetheless. Wade thought it was— he was— enough, and it stung that apparently he had guessed wrong.
It wasn’t until he’d received a call with another voice on the line telling him to come get Logan’s drunk and violent ass from the bar before someone died that Wade finally could pick up the pieces.

But he knows he's not invincible, so he (reluctantly) recruits the help of some strange haole the young Alola champ introduced to him.
A haole with a questionable (at best) fashion sense and... bright, golden/amber eyes.
