His voice was a strained, quiet plea, and Chris sighed as he gently rubbed circles into his back, easily accepting most of the other man’s weight and swaying him back and forth a little.
“Fine. Just for a sec. But then you’ve gotta see a medic.”
Leon grunted noncomitally against him, and he rolled his eyes at the smaller man.
“Alright, but you’ve at least gotta let me check you out before we even think about going anywhere. God, you’re stubborn, you know that?”

Summary
Waking up was always a slow process.
Twilight had moments of half-awareness, of course. A hand in his fur. Soft voices. His brothers, checking on him, making sure he had what he needed. Eventually, he found himself stirring more and more.
When he finally opened his eyes, the first things he saw were bones.

Twilight considered that. “Depends on the size. The lil’ ones you could make an argument for.”
“What about mice?” Wild asked with much less innocence and far more glee.
“I think you could find a mouse that’s a bug,” Twilight mused.
Wars was making little sputtering noises. “There’s - there’s science to this! There’s science, Twilight!”
“Yeah,” Twilight said with full sincerity. “It’s called pointin’ at somethin’ and sayin’ it’s a bug.”
