Hunting for food wasn’t easy, no matter how old he got.
The only real benefit that came with age was an increase in size and whatever knowledge he learned from failed hunts. Though, now that he’s thinking about it, he ate far more consistently as a fry than he does now.
Being so small let him go relatively unnoticed on large mer but now that he was around as big as most juveniles despite being an adult, all that stealth was long gone.
The reminder makes the fins surrounding his mouth flick irritably, disturbing the image of his false face for a moment before he settled again. It was all about appearances now. He had to look like some poor, unassuming mer in the hopes that someone would swoop in on him hoping for an easy kill.

Summary
Wilbur Soot accepts Quackity's offer of becoming his Vice President. However, it takes awhile for him to adjust to the fact that the power imbalance has grown and now heavily favors Quackity.
During a suit fitting, Wilbur gets a little too cocky, and Quackity, sick and tired of the near constant butting of heads, decides to force Wilbur to acknowledge his superiority.
Who knew Wilbur Soot could become such a pretty, well-mannered puppy with just a little bit of degradation?

“Guys!” Tubbo shouts, and Tommy squints through the haze down at his brother as he waves at him by the door. “I’m gonna find us a ride!”
“It’s not safe!” Tommy argues. “We don’t know what’s happening!”
“I’m not going far!” Tubbo promises, rolling the mushroom aside. “We don’t have time to argue, just-!” His sentence gets cut off by a harsh cough, and Tubbo slaps his hands over his nose as smoke pours into their home.

Summary
The year is 1994: Mortal Kombat II is the best-selling arcade game, All-4-One are at the top of the charts, and grunge dies with Kurt Cobain. It’s also the year that Dean Winchester gets drafted to the biggest and most important professional wrestling organization in American history — the World Wrestling Federation. Rising quickly up the card thanks to his in-ring talent, mic-ability, and charisma, there’s only one thing standing in Dean’s way of becoming number one on the roster: Castiel Krushnic. Technically proficient and universally respected, Krushnic seems to hate Dean from their very first meeting for reasons that Dean can’t fathom, but sets about picking apart through outlandish and attention-seeking behavior.
It works. Pretty soon, Krushnic’s paying way too much attention and their fierce rivalry ends up sparking a passionate, toxic affair that burns bright and hot, and oh-so dangerous. Egos and obsessions get in the way of true happiness though, and combined with Dean’s escalating drug abuse, it sees the two of them struggling to keep themselves together and whole. After an inciting incident, they hit breaking point, resulting in betrayal, broken hearts, and career-ending injuries.

Once hailed by the crown for his skill at making weapons, he has traded all that for a more peaceful existence. One not tainted by blood. Techno enjoys making household items and trinkets. He enjoys showing Ranboo and Tommy the ropes. He enjoys his freedom and isn't shy about saying no to something he doesn't want.
Too bad that when a new war approaches, the crown wants its treasured blacksmith back. And the man they send out to assure this happens, Philza Craft, is not one to take no for an answer.

While obligatory, this series challenges a few pervasive narratives and hopes to rewrite foster aus as a concept through radical acceptance, diversity, and realistic healing.
Most people writing foster aus have no idea what they're doing. And tbf- that's okay. Most people aren't reading foster aus for accuracy. But as someone who is knowledgable about these systems and the trauma of foster care, I really wanted to see an au that tackled these concepts head on. So I did it myself.
Thus, encompass was born, a foster au that tackles topics such as
