She hides her face into the pillow, finally letting the tears fall and soak into the fabric in relative privacy. He waves his wand and mutters healing spells over her back. She can feel the lashes knitting together and grits her teeth against the pain, his healing is a fair bit rougher than the more practiced hand of Madam Pomfrey.
