An idea I had regarding S3E16 Offspring. It’s a ‘Lal survives’ AU, where due to the cascade failure’s influence on her development and the means Data must take to ensure her survival she’s the first android with an anxiety disorder! In large part inspired by my also being an autistic lil lady with an anxiety disorder lol.
Data’s daughter, Lal, survives the panic attack given to her by Admiral Haftel, and instead develops as a full-fledged individual aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise.Series

Judging by its behaviour and current physical state, it's a stray who has been cruelly abandoned. For reasons unknown (read: he is in fact capable of loving), Data ends up getting the cat attached to him. And he’s definitely not leaving it behind.
OR, an origin story for Spot the Cat. Which we all definitely needed.

Friendship blooms, and changes into something more (Smooching & bedroom stuff begins!) But soon it's all moving too fast and situation grows bigger than they are. Ginette's best friend gets into a life-and-death race with an sketchy terraforming start-up and Ginette becomes an unlikely player in a civic uprising.
As the action builds, Ginette and Data must take the risk to love and be loved in a world full of uncertainty. (They do, and it's lovely! But there are some tear-jerking moments along the way.)
