    Sam, a sorcerer and cafe owner, starts finding himself visiting a mysterious ever-changing bar and a mystical being named Bucky in his dreams.

    EXCERPT:
    Low was the sound of an in-house band, playing impromptu a calming rhythm that seemed to set a tone along with the mood lighting, warm yet dim, little personal lights brighter at each of the tables. Sam sat at a semi-circle of a booth, dressed in a velvet burgundy suit, a black turtleneck under.
    Horns.
    Long and winding, coming out from a man with icy blue skin; hair at least down to his shoulders, styled back, his stubble trimmed tastefully, his left arm a prosthetic, dressed sharply with a crisp button-down, a striking tie, and wearing a vest patterned with mauve carnations, hands in his pockets as he walked to sit next to Sam at his booth.
    And there was something about the man, something about his smile despite the sharp teeth, something about the softness in his eyes.
    “Bucky,” crooned the being, extending his hand, long nails with a mauve ombre on them, fingers and wrists bejeweled with gold rings and bracelets.
    Sam smiled, taking the being’s hand, shaking it.
    “Sam,” said Sam, the man’s hand cold, “But I assume you know who I am?”

    Deep in the heart of World War II, Steve, Bucky, the Invaders, and the Howling Commandos are getting close to finding the portion of Hydra controlled by the Red Skull and defeating him. As they close in, they receive intelligence that he has am unusual escape method - a machine powered by a mysterious gem that might give Skull the ability to move through time. This seems like a red herring to them, but when Steve and Bucky corner Skull, he uses it.

    Steve and Bucky follow Skull and the next thing Steve knows, he’s waking up on a spaceship called the Avenger and the Red Skull - who went back in time, not forward - has ruled the known galaxy for the last several hundred years. Now he’s working with the rebels to usurp the Red Skull and trying to navigate this strange, amazing new world with his new friends and companions at his side.

      The universe sucks for a lil bit bc Red Skull somehow managed to finangle a way to use the space stone (time? But it's yellow... so soul?' I 'unno) to go back (forward?) in time to overthrow earth and the entire universe.
      Steve and Bucky follow obviously and wacky hijinxs insue! Steve also gets to have a space homosexual love adventure with Tony (things go to shit for a minute with them at the last minute... Tony sacrificing himself for them and all) but it all works out in the end.

Maybe it was just that he remembered his own time in Cryo, maybe it was the way she was so obviously outside of her own time, maybe it was just because she was beautiful… But something about this woman drew him to her.

    And Bucky needed to find out why.

    Sam had been wandering around his city for months, trying to learn more about his people, what life was for those outside his castle walls. However, after a chance encounter with a mysterious and handsome apothecary and a misunderstanding, Sam has found himself the apprentice to an apothecary named Bucky and he has no clue how to tell the man he actually wants to date him.

    EXCERPT:

    “Not talking, huh?” asked Bucky, shrugging casually, “It’s okay. I already know why you were stalking me.”

    That was when the horror hit. The sheer panic of how to I apologize profusely, Sam wondering if he should just run back to the castle and never try to explore the city again out of utter humiliation, maybe become one of the hermits on the treacherous mountains surrounding them.

    Sam could make it as a hermit. A falcon guardian was very on brand for a hermit.

    “You’re here,” said Bucky, a man Sam was very sure was indeed smart, “Because you want to become an apothecary like me! Why else would you be following me?”

    Sam’s entire body relaxed. Thank god the man was book smart and not people smart.
