Lovely fic with lots of twists and turns.
Ianto leaves a Dear John letter for Jack. Joins UNIT as an undercover agent. 10 months later, CoE happens. He finds out about the blank page, and calls to warn Jack.
Through the course of the fic, Ianto takes a cyber control unit from the Black Archive. They implant it into Jack to drive away the 456. Ianto kills Jack to destroy the unit while it converts him.
Ianto catches Indonesian flu. On death's doorstep. Anti-virus is...acquired. Ianto recovers, and is given a job in London.
6 months later, the House of the Dead happens. Rift is closed, and Jack is now mortal. The Doctor comes, and gives a shiny new VM to the boys. Fic ends.

Summary
