Summary
Zuko blinks. Registers. And then he snorts a little. “What, because of my eyes?”
Laughter is bubbling up and bursting out of Sokka before he’s fully even understood what’s happening. He straightens to look at Zuko through eyes squeezed in mirth and slightly filling with tears. Zuko looks surprised but utterly delighted, and no force in the world can stop Sokka from planting a huge wet kiss on his cheek.
“Darling. Zuko. Sunshine. Honey. Oh my spirits,” he says, still laughing. “How long have you been robbing the world of your humour, my love. Snow and sea, I taught you too well.”A simple headcanon about favourite colours.
Sokka and Zuko learn more about each other as they watch the sun rise together. Turns out eyes aren't the reason after all, and maybe they were always sort of meant to be.

Summary
Reunited with all of his friends and on the path to mastering all four elements with his masters by his side, Aang... could really use a break. At least a small one.
Thats why he decided to go on a series of mini-vacations with his friends.

Summary
This is a continuation of my AU where Zuko is captured at the North Pole during the Siege of the North and sent to the Spirit World. He ended up in the Andor(TV) universe and in the Imperial Narkina V Prison facility. You do not need to read that one to understand this one, but it will probably help set the background for this story. And I apparently can't stop making references to it.
Head's up, Zuko might be a little Out Of Character for Book 2, but that is because he is already redeemed.
Also, Zuko's bad luck is pretty much the only constant in his life, and it will return with a vengeance at some point.
Also, I am Canadian, therefore you may notice some spelling differences from American English. Most common are honour and colour, but there may be more. If you spot it, that is all it is.

Being on the run is bad enough, but at least they have an Ostrich Horse now. Unfortunately, that doesn't help them make money, and Zuko has to endure begging with Uncle on the streets and put up with jerks who swing swords at (seemingly) defenseless old men.
Or does he?
Meanwhile, the Gaang is braving a very different Omashu than they remember. Aang is faced with the realization that his last old friend had fallen to the Fire Nation, just like everyone else he had remembered. He does have new friends now though, and new promises. He told Zuko that he would remember that the Fire Nation soldiers were people too, and as much as he didn't want to, this was a good place to start.

Summary
Zuko wasn't sure what to think about the tales of modern day figures living and flying in the Northen Air Temple. His people are... thorough. He doesn't want to let Aang down, but he finds it hard to believe that anyone not stuck in an iceberg had escaped the eradication.
When he got to the temple, he hated being proven right. What's more, he hated seeing Earth Kingdom strangers destroying what little of Aang's heritage survived the attack of his people. But the day that the Fire Nation launches a second attack on this once idyllic temple, Zuko hates the most that he has to finally make a clear choice.
He'd thought he'd made this choice already, thought he'd made it several times over, but the question remains when he'd least like it to: Is he willing to fight against his Nation?

Summary
Banished by his own father, guilty of nothing more than wanting to help his people, humiliated and scarred, Zuko leaves his beloved nation and sets off to fulfill Ozai's wishes to find and capture the Avatar. Little does he know, however, that this supposedly gracious chance at redemption is nothing more than a very cruel lie, woven by the Fire Lord so that his son never returns home.
Zuko finds out the hard way, a few weeks into his search, the true nature of his mission, when he overhears a conversation between his uncle Iroh and lieutenant Jee. Heartbroken and terrified, robbed of any remaining hope at ever seeing the Fire Nation again, forced to accept that there was never any chance of winning back his father's love, if he had it to begin with, the boy flees from the ship and gets caught up in a terrible storm.
Expecting to drown in merciless waters of the ocean, Zuko is shocked to wake up on the riverbank in the middle of a very unfamiliar jungle. Tired, scared to death and still hurt, the thirteen-year-old can only curl up and wail in despair, awaiting his certain demise.
That's when a new door appears in the corridor of the newly rebuilt Casita.
