Summary
223 years after the Calamity, as the Sea Of Glass continues its inexorable spread across Earth's ruined and dried-out surface, King Roland Rais of Acaria hires a group of adventurers to venture into the "Citadel Of Glass", a seemingly endless, shifting maze of non-euclidean spaces filled with dire threats and impossible sights, in desperate hope of finding some way to halt the spread of Glass before it reaches the City of Acaria, the largest remaining bastion of humanity on the planet.
They swiftly meet an ignoble and painful demise.
However, they soon find that death within the Citadel is not the end, as they mysteriously wake up back in the City, (physically) unharmed. Thus begins a constant cycle of struggle, triumph, and suffering as brave the Citadel's depths again and again, learning more about it, growing stronger, and slowly making progress towards reaching its heart and uncovering the truth behind its existence.
One of these adventurers is Kotone Inari, a kitsune scavenger and conwoman with more than a few secrets hiding beneath her many facades...

Summary
Stories set in the Acaria universe, a setting created by Rais, one of my best friends, and so far explored primarily through the medium of roleplaying and tabletop campaigns. A reality seemingly much like our own at first glance, one where the supernatural has been a part of Earth ever since its creation, magic is real, grand and intricate forces are at play in the background of the cosmos, existence itself is not what it seems, and dragons, elves, vampires, monsters, shapeshifters, and magical girls roam the streets, veiled just out of sight for most of history.
And the universe beyond our tiny blue speck is far, far stranger still...

Summary
Maria has been dead for decades, if not centuries, trapped within a nightmare of her own making. But even perishing there will not allow her to rest, as she soon finds herself bound to the Hunter's Dream and, inexplicably, very much alive. Yharnam is much changed from the city she once knew, yet delving into its mysteries is the best chance she has of learning what has happened to her and why.
Provided, of course, that she's willing to join the Hunt one last time.
Perhaps, this time, she can do some good.
