Obi-Wan couldn’t help but feel that now, two years after he had first taken Anakin into his care, he had finally properly fallen into his role of parent figure. Master figure?
Some type of family, at least.
He found he didn’t care what the Masters or the Council thought of Anakin; he was Obi-Wan’s Padawan and he’d fight for him with all he had.
OR
In canon Obi-Wan is mostly critical of Anakin and doesn't seem to show how much he actually does care for his Padawan. Respectfully, I hate that, so I am forcing them to be ever so slightly less idiotic.

Swallowing hard, he gazed at Obi-Wan imploringly, transparently begging for a response that Obi-Wan knew he could not provide.

Aliit ori'shya tal'din - Family is more than blood
This series features a collection of stories focused on Ahsoka Tano and the clones of the 501st and the 212th, along with some favourite recurring Clone Wars characters (including Obi-wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Senator Padme Amidala). Summary
When Cody chooses to trust and protect Anakin over Obi-Wan, this leads to a cascade of change among the clones and the Jedi. Bonds are formed, things change, and a new path has opened up through the war.
In the meantime, Sidious works to keep the control he has so long maintained on the galaxy to see his ultimate goal through. As a direct result of the fallout between Obi-Wan and Cody, he leads the galaxy on a darker path, but that doesn't mean there isn't hope.
