Summary
Jobbing actor Merlin is despairing of ever getting his big break. With the acting world seemingly set against him, he takes a job as far away from London's glitzy theatreland as he can think of – at a down-at-heel castle in the far north of Scotland. There, he encounters a gruff, kilt-wearing shepherd with sturdy knees and the sort of Viking beard that Merlin would just love to bury his face in. After a rocky start, friendship blooms - and perhaps the potential for something more. But both men are hiding secrets that could blow the whole thing wide open.
In which BBC Merlin's characters get the Hallmark movie treatment. In Scotland. Because Arthur obviously needs to wear a kilt and strut around the highlands looking pretty.

Summary
Despite being a grown man, Arthur had taken refuge in the old wardrobe when he heard his sister in the hall outside and wanted to avoid talking to her. The air went from musty to fresh pine and the soft coats gave way to sharp tree branches. Arthur emerged into a crisp new world, covered in snow. A single lamp post marked his way and… suddenly he found himself face to face with a dark haired faun replete with parcels and an umbrella.
He tentatively held out his hand, “I’m Arthur” he said.
The faun stared at his outstretched arm quizzically, then smiled. “I’m Merlin.” -

Art for 2024 ACBB by SlantedKnitting
When Arthur buys a new flat, it should mean that everything in his life is slotting into place. Instead, he can’t stop going on bad dates, his sister won’t get off his back about mental health, and the cupboard doors keep mysteriously falling open.
When the ghost who haunts the flat reveals himself, Arthur decides to help him finish whatever unresolved business he has that’s keeping him from properly passing on. Once Arthur gets rid of this ghostly Merlin figure, he can go back to getting his own life in order.
Of course Merlin has a poor memory, and as Arthur tries to dig into Merlin’s life, he gets used to having a ghost around his home.

Summary
Once a flourishing land, Albion is wracked with pockets of violence, greed, and corruption. The very balance of the elements is disrupted, causing drought, famine, and oppressive heat. When magic is blamed for the land’s misfortune, persecutions begin, and the balance falls even further out of alignment.
After King Uther is assassinated, his son Arthur assumes the difficult and dangerous task of fixing his broken country. Despite the arrival of his Uncle Agravaine, Arthur would feel completely alone if not for his cheeky assistant, Merlin.
Merlin, for his part, hides a myriad of secrets, including a mission entrusted to him by the White Goddess herself. But when he is betrayed by those he was sent to help, it is not only his and Arthur's lives that are imperiled, but the future of all of Albion.
Very loosely inspired by the plot of the film Redbelt.

Summary
Originally posted on the kinkme_merlin (on livejournal) post for the prompt: Modern AU, "Merlin is Arthur's booty call".
In the end, it turned out that was only the beginning, and what ensued was a story of the power of true love. It never gets old, although this story does make mention, many times, of antiques.
