Summary
One month after Korra’s battle with Zaheer, she is healed enough to head back to the Earth Kingdom to try and calm the chaos. She may be shaken by her experiences but a lack of sleep due to nightmares never killed anyone. Plus Kuvira will no doubt appreciate the Avatar backing her up in Ba Sing Se.
OR
Korra heals much more quickly without the poison in her blood, which leads her to teaming up with Kuvira long before the thought of the Earth Empire entered her mind.
