Summary
Phil hadn't expected to be captured by aliens to be studied. It just wasn't something that happened to boring people like him. He didn't know where he was, how long he'd slept, how far he was from home. All he'd seen for the past week was this dull grey box, the only thing to do in order to prevent going insane being pacing, and humming songs to himself. He doesn't imagine he'll get a chance to escape from this cell before he loses his mind, not even knowing what his captors look like.
Although, when a feathered alien, black and white and bright red, is thrown into his cell, he starts to have a little more hope. Two against many are better odds than fighting on your own.

“I know, I know, it sounds crazy,” Tommy didn’t want them to start trampling this idea before he had even finished saying it. “But these reports grew in popularity when all these disappearances started, and I was doing some digging, and these reports and pictures go way back.”
Tommy dug out his phone to show Ranboo and Tubbo some blurry pictures taken in the dark of what looked like classic zombies.
“Tommy, that's just from a movie,” Tubbo said.
He flipped to a picture of a skeleton.
Tubbo raised an eyebrow. “Tommy, have you ever been to science class? Those things exist within the school building.”
Tommy insisted, shaking his head, “No, no the post said the skeletons moved. And look—“
He flipped to a picture of a tall black figure with purple eyes.
“Tommy, none of these are real,” Ranboo exclaimed, forcing Tommy’s phone on the table, “okay?”

Or: Tommy starts a YouTube channel investigating the existence of monsters. Ranboo, a monster, and Tubbo, a monster hunter, both want to keep Tommy out of this world while simultaneously protecting their respective secrets.

And he'd pocketed the pen.
He hadn't thought twice about shoving it into the pocket of his old coat and moving along with his day, scribbling the words safely in his notebook of random lyric ideas on a fresh page as soon as he got back to his apartment.
Until he'd woken up the next morning to find his bedside table covered in black ink, looking like a toddler had gotten a hold of a crayon or their parent's lipstick and scrawled loops all over the wood.
The pen was laying there innocently on top of all the inky lines, and Wilbur knew, even in his sleepy haze, he hadn’t emptied his pockets the night before.
or: wilbur makes a friend by picking up a pen off the sidewalk. this friend has a lot more baggage and oddities than he’d ever thought. oh- and did he mention his friend’s a ghost?

Kronos was a really interesting God, in Percy’s opinion. He was a Titan God who had killed his dad to take over, then ruled for a long time and created the Golden Age... before he ate his kids and they got revenge by cutting him up. Percy related to him though, not on the eating his kids part, but the part where Kronos murdered his own dad.
Percy very much wished he could murder Gabe. Kronos probably had loads of ideas for killing horrible (step)parents. And people prayed to Gods for help all the time, why not for help with murder?
Or: Percy starts worshipping Kronos as a kid, hoping for some advice on how to off Gabe. Kronos is happy to assist.Series
