Summary
This is just me being salty and writing a bunch of AUs where certain characters survive and are awesome later on in the series (none of them are related). They all have some sort of relationship with Arthur. Here's What I got so far and an updated version of what is officially coming.

Summary
With the new flick getting more positive buzz than Arthur had expected, it's starting to look like he just might write his own ticket into a high-visibility West End role, even as he tries to rework his treatment for the stage. Merlin, meanwhile, is adapting to the increased popularity that comes with being married to a Hollywood megastar, even as his own star is on the rise, with the Proms and a new world tour. Of course, all of this comes with the new challenge of being apart more than they have since they got together. Still, they've always been good for each other ... so maybe this is just the beginning of something even better.

"Your mother made me make my own pie with her yesterday." He said, sitting up to glare. "What is it with your family? Why do none of you respect nobles?" He said and Merlin dropped the plate of food he was carrying. "...I hate you." He sighed, staring at his food bouncing on the ground with a loud clatter. "I should hire your mother as my servant. She wouldn't drop my food." He added with a fierce nod.
"My mother is here?" He asked and Arthur paused.
"You haven’t seen her?"
"No. Fuck. It’s finally happening." He whispered. Arthur stared, absolutely baffled. "She’s come to kill me." He explained and dashed towards the door to peer outside.
"What?" Arthur snorted. "Merlin. Your mother can be very firm, but she’s not the killing type. She is too softhearted for such things." He said and Merlin slammed the door shut, leaning against the wood as if barricading it.
"If you're not careful you'll be next."

Summary
Arthur gets the scare of a lifetime when he realizes he left an injured and defenseless Merlin at the mercy of the Dolma. When they are reunited, Merlin does not forgive him. Meanwhile, Gwen tells Arthur she no longer wants to be together after realizing he does not truly know her enough to love her if he didn’t realize she was enchanted.
Arthur, having hurt both people closest to him, realizes he needs to make some changes in how he treats those around him and seeks advice from some unlikely sources.Series

Summary

Summary
Arthur, Morgana, and Gwen had no idea what they were involving themselves in by volunteering to defend Ealdor—and Ealdor wasn’t ready for them either. Squashed between the Ridge of Ascetir and the White Mountains, Ealdor was offered unique protection from authority coming from either Camelot or Cenred’s kingdom. In other words, magic was used with an unusual degree of freedom, and it would surely be used while they were there.
Canon divergence of ep. 1x10 The Moment of Truth, imagining that magic is actually very commonplace is Ealdor. This fact causes Merlin some stress on the trip from Camelot to Ealdor with Arthur, Morgana, Gwen and his mother, and he must find a way to warn his friends of the magic they will see, no matter the outcome.

Summary
Ealdor is a small, proud, gossipy town like any other.
When two knights stumble in with unfriendly company on their tails, they take up their swords to defend the town and her people.
A gallant gesture, truly, but this town’s alarmingly beautiful leader needs no help from knights in shining armour.
It does make for a good story, though.
