Summary
It sits there, it's gold speckled brown eyes open wide as it gasps for air.
The wound will not kill it, but it's extremely painfully and will take a long time to heal, but Skizz could help.
Skizz kneels in front of it.
It bares it's teeth at him. He's sure it would hiss at him if it had air to spare.
Skizz pushes his powers into the demon's injury.
He feels the wound start to heal under his fingers.
Once it's healed, he pulls his hand away.
The demon gulps down air desperately.
"Wh-why...did...you..do...that?" The demon asks between breaths, and from it's voice and build, Skizz concludes it must be a male.
"Because no one should have to suffer." Skizz says, smiling, 'But how did that-" Skizz points to where the hole was (that there is now just a hole in the demon's shirt), "-Happen?"
or, (Angel) Skizz helps an hurt Demon (Impulse) and gets cast down for befriending it.

“Skizz, something’s wrong.”
“I know, buddy, but I can’t help if I can’t see you.”
There was a quiet whine and then Impulse appeared from around the corner. Skizz pressed his mouth in a thin line, staring at the new features on his best friend. There are some tiny horns protruding from his forehead, turning from Impulse’s skin color to black at the tip and fangs were poking from his lips. Most jarringly, Impulse’s normal, brown, human eyes had gone pitch black. There were tiny little pinpricks of yellow in the middle. “Hmm. You’re not Impulse.”
Or, a ghost hunt goes a little wrong, and Impulse gets a new friend in his body for a while.
Or, or, I wrote something new to sprinkle in between my fantasy AU fics.

His hunger colonizes his entire being.
The guttural rumbles keep getting louder and louder over time the longer he doesn’t eat. He can’t. Not when he still has to wait for the delivery to arrive. His mouth keeps drooling against his will whenever he stares at the Hermits for a bit too long, his instincts frantically yelling at him to feast. But he won’t.
He just can’t!
He’d rather endure the painful hunger pangs. They’re his family who welcomed him into their lives despite his adequate skills, for crying out loud! There are far more talented people in the universe, yet they still accepted him. The least he can do to repay their kindness is to never bare his teeth on their flesh, even if his instincts are telling him otherwise.
How will Tango cope with the Hermits’ agitation when they finally discover that he eats people?

Summary
A shadow, far larger than any phantoms but shorter than an enderman, looms and darkens a bit of his surroundings with its enormous wingspan, making it a bit difficult for him to see while he lands a few critical hits successfully on the flying reptiles that glide too close to his face and fall to the snow one by one.
He closes his eyes for a bit to breathe slowly and calm his burning nerves, but he feels a pinprick sensation around his neck, making him flinch violently and opens his eyes widely to register that there’s something brown latching at the right side of his neck, shuddering at the slithering sensation. He tries to scramble away from it when his strength starts to slip from his fingers now of all times, which makes resisting the tight grip on his tilted head and shoulder more difficult.
The bile in his knotted stomach rises to his throat at the smell of something rusty, feeling something liquid dripping from his neck towards his robe and soaks it gradually. He can only stare widely into the distance while his hands clutch at the snow on the floor like a lifeline in dread.
Something is drinking Tango’s blood. Fast.
