Summary
Raising children is hard. Raising four children as a single parent is even harder. Especially if, also, you're a rat, and also all your children are mutants, and you live in the sewer, and you have no idea what you're doing. When Hamato Yoshi is presented with the chance to return to the surface with his sons and give them a 'normal' life as humans, he takes it.
He didn't think that they would forget about that whole turtle thing. But it seems kind of too late to tell them now. Surely they won't find out any other way, right?...

"Leo didn't know what to do or how to help. But in the haze of it, he caught a glimpse of Casey's eyes, wide and terrified and smothered with tears. That's when he noticed it. Casey's eyes were bloodshot red. To a point where it was scary. And all of a sudden, his behavior made a lot of sense. The panic, the over sharing, the honesty, the carelessness, all of it.
Oh.
Oh boy.
Leo wasn't just talking to a sleep deprived Casey who was info dumping. He was talking to a Casey who was high out of his damn mind right now. He was talking to a Casey who was having a panic attack all the while being stoned out of his soul.
Oh.
That actually made a lot more sense. A lot.
That explained why he was awake. Why he was swaying from side to side whenever he stood. Why his legs never seemed to work properly. Why he and Raph came home late. Why they snuck back home without anyone noticing. Why he was oversharing. Why Casey was freaking out.
But that realization didn't help the situation in front of him."
Or: Leo finds Casey awake in the middle of the night. Somehow, that escalates to him trying to guide the guy through a panic attack.

Summary
There were a select few things that he could remember. A glowing, golden light, radiating warmth and need. That suffocating darkness had been abruptly ripped away from him as he was suddenly falling, falling, falling.
And all of the sudden, he's a Foot soldier with some pretty whack amnesia. Huh. Well, he'd probably be fine.
It wasn't like he was going to have an identity crisis or have to, like.. attack alternate versions of himself or his brothers, or anything. Yeah, not at all.

TLDR: rise!leo falls into the 2012 dimension instead of his brother's arms, gives himself some pretty damn bad amnesia, and shredder basically kidnaps him.

He should’ve been a better leader. A better friend. A better brother. A better son.
He should’ve, he should’ve, he should’ve.
But it’s too late.
His blood is leaving him in floating scarlet ribbons, along with the crumbling bits of his shell and plastron. He knows he’s going to be dead soon, and that it isn’t just him being dramatic like he usually is. Dying is a lot more painful than he imagined. He always thought he’d die before he turned eighteen, but not like this. Not alone. He always thought he’d die out on patrol, or something, but in here, no one would even find his body. He’d just… be here forever. Would his body even decay, or would it freeze over? Would Prime eat him? Would he transform him into a Kraang zombie? Would he just play with his corpse, or something?
…Maybe Leo doesn’t want to die.
OR: Leo gets a second chance at life.

Summary
Using the powers of the Time Scepter, the Ultimate Drako sends Donatello to his own personal hell. However, he's not the only one. Leonardo finds himself in a dystopian world ruled by the Shredder's grandson, where his father and brothers are long dead. Well… almost all of them.
Leo isn’t entirely sure what to make of the strange, hardened turtle who just so happens to share his brother's name, but it must be a coincidence. There's no way this turtle could be an older version of his goofy little brother. Right?
