Summary
It starts when they first meet and how they traversed through life together. Told from the 3rd person but very Bucky-centric. Updates will be just whenever; I'll fall into a schedule, but I'll lyk if I've stopped working on it.
Bucky meets Steve; they click instantly and become inseparable. Bucky realizes he has feelings for Steve, and they kiss about it. There is hurt, but there is also comfort, so worry not! I love my boys and would not do anything canon hasn't already done to them.
Goes through Bucky's time in the war, as the Winter Soldier, and his recovery and budding (new) relationship with Sam after Steve is out of the picture.

Inspired by a line from the mentioned story: “In his experience, the serum likes a solid five or more hours of sleep a night (although he could function with less). And if he stays awake for much longer than a week at a time without sleep, then, well... last time he'd woken up with Bucky's pissed off face inches from his because apparently, he'd passed out in a snow drift.”
Aka: During the war, the Howling Commandos encounter a blizzard and they find an abandoned castle to lay low in until it’s safe to go outside. Of course this isn’t a regular castle, it’s one that’s been apart of Hydra since the 1700’s.

Summary
A solo mission during WW2 gets more interesting when Steve Rogers shows up - Steve Rogers from the future, along with a few friends, including his future self. Meanwhile the Howling Commandos are looking for their missing sniper and run into some allied soldiers who mention that ‘Captain America’ saved them. Except that can’t possibly be right because Steve’s right here. To make matters worse, they mention that Captain America saved another soldier too, and that soldier is Bucky. Now the Howling Commandos are 10 times more stressed out thinking Bucky’s been kidnapped by a fake Captain America.

Summary
After crashing the plane, Steve lied down to go to sleep. He accidentally teleported to Bucky due to the Tesseract being near him. Then he got mind controlled by the same person who’s using their abilities to mind control Bucky, and now Steve thinks he’s Hydra, same as Bucky does. But when the Hydra base gets infiltrated by the Howling Commandos, Steve needs to figure out who’s telling the truth about who he is: these strange but familiar men, or Hydra.

The men look at each other, a silent consultation. Bucky rolls his eyes. ‘Whaddya want me to do, star-jumps? Anyway, I bring gifts.’
He burrows into the duffle bag he’s carrying, pulls out bars of soap, chocolate, packets of cigarettes.
‘Where the hell you get these?’ Gabe Jones sounds affronted but he still grabs the proffered bounty.
‘Ask me no questions, I’ll tell you no lies.’
Dugan grins, big blonde moustache quivering. ‘Mother Hen Barnes is in the coop!’ The packet of cigarettes he’s caught one corner of remains resolutely in the sergeant’s grip. ‘Papa Wolf?’ The blue eyes remain cold. Dugan sighs. ‘Thanks, Sarge.’

Steve isn't too happy masquerading as an alpha but he'll do it to stay out of a lab. But someone knows his secret and isn't above using it to get what they want.
All Bucky can do is try to keep Steve together in the aftermath.
