Summary
The Festival of Mortilus is a kind of Cybertronian Halloween. It celebrates the victory of the Guiding Hand (the ancient Cybertronian gods) over Mortilus (Death, who was once one of their number), which, in the IDW continuity, is supposedly what made Cybertronians essentially immortal. The Festival includes a lot of customs that would be familiar to anyone who's celebrated Halloween: costumes, sweets, spooky stories, and special lanterns (although trick-or-treating is new to Cybertronians!).
These stories, written by request for Halloween, explore different Festival of Mortilus traditions, old and new, through the optics of different characters. They don't all take place during the same Festival, or even necessarily in the same universe. The only thing that binds them together is this ancient celebration.
The Festival of Mortilus is my own invention. Feel free to take the idea and play with it, although if you drop me a line to let me know you're doing so, that would be great!

Megatron is dead. That’s not a reality the DJD ever expected to face. Certainly not with the Decepticons in exile and so far from realizing Megatron’s dream of peace through tyranny. Betrayed by their fellow Decepticons, the DJD wander space pursuing their final mission: avenge Megatron and kill Optimus Prime. One problem: no bot seems to know where Optimus Prime is.
While the rest of the DJD are struggling to hold onto their will to live, double agent Vos finally feels like his work has meaning again. He’s the only Autobot that knows Longarm Prime is an enemy spy. But after so long without intel to share, he’s having a hard time keeping his priorities straight.

Summary
Times were rough, times were good, while other times were terrifying. Follow the young Seeker Lord, Starscream as he travels along his 10 million years of battle hardened life. Understand how he struggled with combat, conflict, and danger as he faced life altering challenges along the way.
Starscream Chronicles is based upon the Generation one cartoon Starscream with a lot of everything else mixed in. Characters from other series, such as TFPrime, Dreamwave Comics, or IDW Comics will take their place alongside of our anti-hero. The Starscream Chronicles series started around 2006 with stories continuing through the 2020's.
A number of old short stories have been incorporated and rewritten into this series. This is a largely Decepticon centric storyline where the reader gets to see the life through the Decepticon side of the war. This is also a very “shades of grey” series.
Each story unlocks his transition through the Decepticon ranks, and the trials and tribulations that made him the person we know and love. Starscream will transition from the gentle scientist to the fierce and mildly psychotic Seeker Warrior.

Perhaps it’s the knowledge that if Optimus dies, that idiot Sentinel takes charge of the Autobots. Perhaps it’s that Megatron wanted another kill to add to his tally. Perhaps it’s the tug of anguish and sorrow that the thought of Optimus dying evokes within him. He would rather not consider the latter too deeply.

He excels in every test, and exceeds every expectation Ratchet has for him but despite his intelligence, skills, and passion for the work, Pharma fails to distinguish himself from Ratchet. Tired of being stuck in Ratchet's shadow, Pharma immediately seizes upon an opportunity to prove himself when the role of head physician opens at Trypticon prison, scenically located in the Decepticon's ancestral home of Kaon.
Once accepted, he befriends the head nurse, Nickel, and finds that most of his staff are mini-cons. Not too long after, Pharma encounters a frequent visitor to the clinic named Tarn, who unbeknownst to him, sees an opportunity of his own in the Autobot jet - a ticket to freedom.
