No one questioned it when the bus drove off into the Pacific Northwest. No one thought to check if the GPS was working.
Now, they’re stranded in the wilderness, far from civilization, with no way out.

Professor Mumbo Jumbo, Scar, Grian, Jimmy, Joel, Lizzie, and Gem to a competition in Seattle ran by an organization called the “Watchers,” which promised to pay the winners tuition in full. Grian thinks there might be something seriously wrong with this college play - Romeo and Juliet - and that it might even be connected to those strange visions that keep getting worse. And he really, really doesn’t want that. Especially not when Taurtis is in the play as well.

What started out as a joke quickly turned into something more devastating.
None of the Hermits were excited for this exchange program, in honesty it sounded stupid to force them out of their well comforted school and home. Scar's friends weren't exactly happy he was the one picked for their social experiment either.
It ended up leading to a rabbit hole of a missing person's case, a teacher's suspicious death, ghosts, and a boy who adamantly refuses to where his uniform.
Scar didn't expect to uncover a cold case when he changed schools.

With Mumbo gone off-world, it was now up to Scar, Pearl and Xisuma to worry about him – if Grian would let them. But Grian was nothing if not stubborn. He’d get through this alone, right?
