PREVIOUSLY: Untitled Hadestown AU* With Olympus Drama (*Term Used Lightly)
When his lover Eurydice is taken to Hadestown, Orpheus wastes no time going to find her. Following his adoptive father Hermes's directions, Orpheus finds himself in the heart of the realm of the dead, singing for King Hades and his wife, Persephone. When things go quickly downhill, a variety of gods and heroes take matters into their own hands to free Orpheus and Eurydice from the realm of the dead.
The first part in a series that quickly becomes less and less of a Hadestown AU at all.

“Lady Morgana,” The lord said, his brows furrowing as he took a step back “Pardon me for the assumption, but I was told the king’s ward never left the East tower?” He asked and gestured vaguely around the gardens. Morgana smiled and Merlin smirked from his hiding place as he watched Arthur consider swooping in to save the man, but clearly thinking better of it.
“Ah, of course.” Morgana said “You must be confused. There are two wards of the king. I’m afraid you won’t be able to meet Merlin today.”

Uther took in Balinor’s child as a baby and claimed him as his ward. Merlin thinks he’s being held hostage, but whatever.

Summary
A re-write of the Harry Potter series in which Lily Potter's ghost remains attached to Harry in order to continue protecting her son. Also features an edited prophecy, Harry not being a horcrux, and a number of other canon divergences that result directly or indirectly from Lily's presence.
Main series stories will be titled "Well That Just Won't Do - Book X" and will follow Harry's life from Halloween 1981 to Post-Second War. Companion pieces focused on other characters have short, concept-based titles like "Freedom and Recovery" and "Surviving".
