Vox looks like he’s going to vomit. Valentino frowns.
“For the one who suggested this, you’re being a real pussy.”
“Fuck you! Just give me a sec.” Vox spits out, muttering darkly as he adjusts his shoulders on the pillows, trying to arrange his body for the moment he loses all function. Valentino, despite his impulsive nature, waits patiently. His manicured nails drag along the spot where cable and port connect, thumb smoothing up and down the flat surface surrounding it. Vox’s breath is coming faster now, not slower, something Valentino is tuned into as naturally as his own breathing.
“Hey.”
A large hand grasps a corner of Vox’s screen, tilting it up and putting an immediate stop to his fidgeting. Valentino smiles, red eyes narrowed to slits.
“Do you trust me?”

Rev slaps a hand to the spot. “No way! Off-limits!”
Mark snaps out of it with a squeak. He devolves right into an apologetic, pathetic, babbling mess: “I’m sorry I’m sorry so sorry I wouldn't — just hungry so sorry!”
Then he’s stumbling out of his coffin and out of the room, with a last call of “Going to the cafeteria! Bye Rev!”
Rev watches him go, he rolls his eyes and turns back to his essay. He's never been hungry before, but can it really make someone act like such an idiot? Or, well, in Mark’s case, a bigger idiot.

Silence stretched. The music from the party thumped faintly through the walls, but inside, it was just the two of them. Chance shifted again, “accidentally” letting his hand brush Two Time’s thigh this time.
Two Time inhaled, slow and controlled, but the faintest crack showed in their composure. “You tempt me purposely.”
“Mm, maybe,” Chance said, his grin widening. “What’re you gonna do about it, preacher?”
Two Time finally turned to face him, eyes dark even in the low light. Their voice stayed soft but sharpened just enough to make Chance shiver. “You will regret seeking the answer to that,” they murmured.
Or, seven minutes in heaven leaves Chance and Two Time with flushed faces and tight pants.
