He supported her head as he rolled her onto her back, stomach twisting at the feeling of her hair, matted and sticky with coagulated blood. He pushed away the strands covering her face, revealing two blackened eyes and a crooked nose. Blood was crusted on her upper lip, and more had dried on her cheek where it dripped from the wounds hidden in her hair. Her complexion was ashen, and the skin around her mouth and nose had taken on a blueish tint. She reminded him of the way bodies look after a battle before the crows descend to pluck out their eyes and tongues, their faces are gray and slackened. He froze, eyes transfixed on her unmoving chest, willing it to move, but she remained utterly still.It was then that he began to scream.

You feign haughtiness as you stare down at him on his knees. “Beg,” you command.
You think he’s not going to do it— that he’s about to call your bluff. You watch as one corner of his mouth lifts into a smile and he throws his head back to laugh breathily. He presses a single kiss to the exposed skin of your thigh and you wait in anticipation. The silence is almost overwhelming. You can hear your heartbeat thudding in your ears and the air between the two of you is heated and still.
And then Rafayel groans, resting his warm face against your leg. “Please,” he whispers.

Trouble never seemed far off when Childe was around. For the most part, Lumine didn't mind that. Kept things interesting, for sure. Usually, their mutual brand of mayhem looked like epic battles against hilichurls and eldritch horrors from Abyss. But the moment Childe sheepishly croaked out "my parents think we're dating," Lumine just knew that they had stumbled head first into a new form of danger. Sadly, this one wasn't one they could stab their way out of.
Though frankly if this fake dating thing didn't go well, Lumine wasn't above trying it.
