Cas and Dean are young, in love, but Cas has been dancing around the idea of taking Dean as his mate. He's always wanted to find his true mate. His siblings had, and they were head over heels in love with theirs. His parents were true mates. Heck, even Dean's brother had found his. Dean's parents were true mates, too. But Dean hadn't found his yet, and neither had he. He loves Dean, even if he's afraid to admit it to himself, and after a drunken night of sex in the back of Dean's car, he realizes true mates are not as important as being with the man he is head over heels in love with.

Summary
No one in town has ever reached the top of the hill just outside of town, though many have tried. All that attempted it were met with horrible monsters that had them racing back down to escape them. Dean and his friends decide they're going to give it a shot (and Dean's annoying little brother who has to tag along for everything), so they fill their backpacks and they head up the hill.
The climb was taking much longer than any of them expected for something as simple as a hill, but it's the things they encounter along the way that make it all very difficult. They're determined though, and it doesn't take Dean long at all to figure out what is going on. From there they're able to make the rest of the climb to reach the top of the hill. It's not an easy journey getting there, and it's not any easier getting back down, but they achieved something no one else had. They couldn't wait to brag about it either.

When he hears a song one night, something so hauntingly beautiful he can't get it out of his head and he sees the most beautiful man he's ever laid eyes on, the last thing he expects is for this stranger to know his grandmother, or for the secrets they are about to reveal. Summary
Sam and Dean have always been inseparable. They were as close as two brothers could be. That is, until a year ago when Dean mysteriously dropped off the radar. Sam always believed it had something to do with Dean’s bad news girlfriend: Abbigail Donovan. But with no way to contact his brother, Sam was left to himself.
Now, nearly two years and one strange phone call from Dean later, Sam gets a call from Sioux Falls Police. Abbi is dead, Dean’s in the hospital, and what’s more, there’s a child in the picture. All signs point to a domestic fight turned fatal–but no charges are being pressed. Sam soon learns the reason for this. Dean is the victim of domestic abuse.
With Abbi dead, and nothing left to Dean in the will, Sam goes to South Dakota to pick up his brother and his niece and takes them back home with him to California. There he hopes Dean will recover and get his life back together after the damage caused by his dead fiance. And when Dean makes friends with Sam’s co-worker, Castiel, Sam starts to believe recovery is possible after all.
But the past is never easily escaped, leaving Dean, Sam, and Castiel to face demons they never imagined.
