“Oh, stop whining,” Legend said, peeking out at the monster camp. It was just as big as Time had made it out to be. Bigger, even. “You pull off the look really well.”
“That’s not a compliment,” the anti-fairy in the lantern hanging from Legend’s belt retorted. Or rather, the hero disguised as a fairy disguised as an anti-fairy said.
(Or: Half the Chain have been poisoned by monsters, who made off with the two smallest heroes in the process. It’s up to Legend and Hyrule to rescue them. Luckily, Legend has a special item for just such an occasion…)

AU where Cia, a powerful dark witch, creates 2/3 of the Chain (Sky -> Four -> Time -> Twilight -> Wild -> Warriors) as artificial magical beings – called aspects in this world – over the course of a number of years in a desperate bid to recreate the deceased First, who she was madly and unhealthily obsessed with. The other 1/3 of the Chain (Legend -> Hyrule -> Wind) are also aspects created by First's widow, Hylia, with the purpose of finding her and her late husband's young son, who disappeared under mysterious circumstances.- Words:

But something bad happens, and Warriors and Four get separated from the rest. Trapped in a rock prison.
Then water begins to fill the bottom.

“Like hell you would,” Four retorted, gently pushing his brother back down into the pillows. “You are staying right there until you can at least walk to one end of the hallway and back without passing out. I can deal with Mistress Cia for a few days on my own, no problem.”
Bloodshot, royal blue eyes gazed pitifully up at him. “But you shouldn’t have to.”
“Is what it is, Sky. If it’ll give you a break, I don’t mind it.” And he didn’t, truly. He leaned in and briefly pressed his forehead into Sky’s burning temple as the older aspect shivered and trembled like a leaf against him, even bundled in three layers of blankets. “Just focus on resting, okay?”

Summary
After an altercation in Warriors Hyrule between Wars and a Pro Cia army higher up in which he was called a fat lazy man whore Wars has been off his game. He’s eating less and training more. To top it off they’re in Hyrule’s Hyrule in the poisonous lava rock fields. The chain is worried but before they can do anything about it they land in Wild’s Hyrule and get ambushed by the Yiga clan. Will everyone make it out all right? or will this be the final nail that kills Warriors?
Trigger warnings for: torture, discussion of rape, dubious consent, withdrawn consent and discussions of anorexia. no torture, rape or dubcon on screen, it all happens off screen, the readers just get the results. bigger explanation in Chapter 1, Story starts in chapter 2. so skip 1 if you don’t want spoilers! if you still have questions after reading chap 1 feel free to send me a message through a review.
