Summary
‘It was supposed to be a routine babysitting job,’ Tsugumi thought.
Tsugumi Takahashi is a 22-year-old Japanese woman who moved to New England a year ago, and is known as the Biker Babysitter because she’s a biker and a babysitter is called by Robert and Irene Williams to come look after their son, Toby, because his half sister, Sarah, is late coming home. Soon, Sarah wishes for Toby to be taken away by Jareth, the Goblin King, who recognizes Tsugumi because she had met him in a dream that she had when she was a teenager, but Tsugumi, however, has no memory of him. Since Sarah and Toby are her responsibility, Tsugumi decided to run the Labyrinth in Sarah's place to rescue Toby. But will she make it in time, and what will she do when she finds herself slowly falling in love with Jareth, especially when she has to say the words 'You have no power over me' to him and mean it for her and Toby to be sent back home when she has never read the book?

Sarah is twenty-five years old and a fairly successful actress on the stage. She has mostly shrugged off her previous adventure as nothing but a fanciful dream, Toby has hardly mentioned it to her so she assumes he can't recall the events either. On winter's day, Sarah receives a rare invitation to a masquerade party in Scotland hosted by a mysterious stranger. Never one to turn the opportunity for adventure, Sarah accepts. But what could really be happening at the ball? There are strange people, creatures almost, in attendance, and Sarah find's herself the unfortunate prize in a dark plot to remove her from the Underground's records. How do you fight against the magic not of this world? Don't take anything for granted.

And Jareth being Jareth fjnds away to win his queen back and get his snuggles even in owl form!
