    Four hums quietly. “Cloud season?” He asks. “What do you mean?”

    Sky hesitates. “The clouds?” He says, releasing his free hand from his blanket prison to point directly out the window. He does not think he could be clearer if he tried. “On the ground? Where they aren’t normally?”

    The smithy furrows his brow and tilts his head. “Do you mean the snow?”

    He was tired of being spoken about behind his own back, and laughed at as though he wasn’t the very star of it. Acting as though he had no feelings or thoughts of it either, and this wasn’t his life that they were poking fun at.

    He’s glad he ended up here, because it means that he fought for himself. And Wind would do it again.

    The lid creaks open, remnants of dust and gloom sliding off with the motion. The plant’s glow illuminates the corroded underside of the lid. It must not be airtight then. Hopefully whatever’s inside hasn’t completely decayed over time.

    The brightbloom is not quite tall enough to cast light inside the box, so he reaches a hand in - his hand, his untampered hand, not the rotting corpse permanently fixed to his shoulder - and grabs a hold of it. Whatever it is, it’s soft, although he can feel a tear in the otherwise smooth fabric. New armour, then. He’ll have to take it to Purah to see if it is magically-inclined.

    It is only once Link drags the item of clothing out of the case that the breath in his chest stutters.

    Wild stares at the faded tunic that belonged to Sky, and can’t quite suffocate the harsh sob that rattles his breast.

    If only the shrines weren't throwing a huge hissy fit, and the monsters weren't acting stronger and smarter and weirder than even before the Fall of Ganon, and the travelers weren't refusing to patiently wait for him in the relative safety of the shrines, and-

    Four took note of Sky's prolonged silence, and shrunk back a bit. “I-I’d could really use some company.” They quickly added, trying to fix any issues they caused.

    That alone made Sky worry. “Of course, you’re always welcome.” He smiled, standing back up. “Now, are you comfortable helping me around, or would you just prefer to watch?” Sky laid down the options, seeing the still present and unbridled worry in the other.
