my "What if Raditz was resurrected?" AU. DBZ has the densest collection of "dead people who won't stay that way" short of a zombie movie, and thus a great place for my morbid side to play. Note: some fics are, quite frankly, "museum pieces" that were written very early on, when I was going by the early dubs for info and wasn't that good a writer. So if you see something flagged "museum piece", you have been warned!

Summary
Doctor Gero finds himself mightily inconvenienced when he collapses in his lab one day, and wakes up with a set of memories from an old life. Now he has to deal with all these new impulses and desires from a life far less grand and younger than his own, and the annoyances that brings him. Still, with the new knowledge that old life has given him, perhaps the headache from dealing with petty things like 'morality' and 'ethics' will be worth it. Perhaps, with the help of these new/old memories, he can create machines that will become the very Pinnacle of Humanity, and surpass anything these pesky alien invaders have to offer.

Author's Note: In the beginning this is pretty close to canon, but it definitely diverges when the androids shows up.

Summary
With an unexpected attack from the androids and an unlucky explosion, refugee Bulma Briefs with her young son Trunks and 14-year old Gohan discover that they have been zapped not only to the past, but to an alternate universe! The universe-hopping trio must now use their power, wits, and skills to survive. Hell is always on their heels, but strangely enough, they find refuge among the not-so-extinct Saiyans. Much to Gohan's distress, and Bulma's delight, he is catapulted to the top of Saiyan society - a society which he views as barbaric and destructive. Through a series of (mis)adventures, explosive battles, and political schemes galore the trio may just find their place in this universe.

One day, Videl Satan was given an assignment that required her to find out who her birth parents are. Somehow this winds up with her finding her long lost sister and dragging her in to a family of head cases that are either married to alien princesses, have risen from the dead or commit vigilantism in their spare time (okay they all commit vigilantism in their spare time). Videl's not sure how to feel about this, especially since she now finds herself fighting homicidal clowns, kite men and arrogant dick weeds wearing owl masks. And that's without her sister's stepmother sending her mob goons to kidnap her so they could have tea together. But if there's one thing the daughter of the world champ is able to do, it's roll with the punches. Now if only she could get that Superman wannabe out of her city and figure out what that new kid in class is hiding.
