Summary
Optimus Prime sacrificed himself and the Matrix to the Well of Allsparks to bring life back to Cybertron.
It worked and now their world is flourishing once more. Years later, a new Matrix has appeared and chosen Rodimus as their next Prime. This event still fills the mechs processor with doubts. Is he really worthy of such a huge responsibility, whatever it may be? What's his purpose if the war is over? Drift can see the negative effects these thoughts have been having on Rodimus and wants to help him feel better in any way he can.

Can't promise that I'll have any other fics for Kinktober this year (nor are I aware of what challenges there are) but I certainly have some in mind! There's an ace kink fic I really want to write... this one was fun though. It's a bit poetic, editing the pacing so the core climax parts aren't dense paragraphs, will keep revisiting this.
