Summary
After a prophetic dream where Sam sees himself in a white suit killing an older Dean, he wakes up in 2014 where the Dean he sees, the Dean who stops Sam from taking drastic measures, is exactly like the one in his dream. Sam is confused about why he’s here, but Dean adjusts more quickly to the idea of having his little brother back. It’s been a long time since the two of them indulged in each other and Sam can’t suppress his urges now that Dean is so much older and rougher.

A hint of kohl makes his eyelashes look miles long, Mary notes with a pang of envy, and he carries himself with the casual certainty of a Lord. “I suppose you’re not quite what I expected.”

This project examines the history of fanfiction using the specific example of Star Trek as a lens. It covers a period from the 1960s to around 2007 in three periods. One, the period where Star Trek fanfiction was shared through the publication of amateur magazines called fanzines. Two, the movement of fanfiction online and how it was changed along with the changes in technology.
