Summary
Feng Xin had never paid much attention to how he looked.
He always thought that if Mu Qing got dirty, maybe he would look more human. More touchable. He thought that dark colors would diffuse the halo that was constantly around him, even when he was like this: wearing undyed linens, gray-ish looking bags under his eyes, his hair a little frizzy from training and cleaning all day.
The choker had the opposite effect. It had Mu Qing looking ethereal, untouchable: the type of beauty to be gawked at and worshiped, but never tainted. And even after a day’s worth of labor, his hair still smelled faintly of cherry blossoms.
Time was frozen, even as Xie Lian put his arms around Mu Qing, ever the tactile affectionate type. “Doesn’t he look beautiful, A-Xin?”
Feng Xin didn’t need to think about it. He just nodded.
“V-very beautiful.”
Mu Qing’s eyes were wide, the tops of his cheeks pink, the pale glow from the moonlight tinting his skin slightly blue, reflecting on the round pendant hanging from his throat by velvety black fabric and—
—to this day, he’s yet to witness anything more beautiful.

Xie Lian walked to the door to leave; Pei Ming went back to the table to put the large book back in its place. Then, Xie Lian’s voice caught his attention again.
“Pei Ming?”
“Yes, Your Highness?”
He was smiling. “I hope you find someone who wants to know how you like your tea.”
It was a nice sentiment. Pei Ming nodded. “Thank you, Your Highness.”
He was left with his books and his thoughts. He never thought of himself as someone capable of devotion.
Maybe an old dog could learn new tricks, after all.————————————————————————

Summary
I have been playing in a few D&D campaigns. As things happen and characters develop, the mind wanders.
Everyone consented and so I'm here, posting what came from it.
I want to make it clear that this is fanfiction of the campaigns, not things that happened in the actual narrative of the game that we are playing - I am writing using a few things, like the characters, some mechanics, the setting, but not the actual narratives that we built thus far. This is all just me imagining the possibilities.

Summary
“Jesus, Harrington.” Hargrove’s scrubbing his palms on his scrubs, like he’s trying to wipe off Robin’s cooties. “Just pick anything, it’s not that deep.”
“Whu—” Steve sputters, because seriously, what the hell does Hargrove know? “Then you come up with something, asshole!”
Hargrove’s mouth snaps shut. Clearly the dickhead didn’t think Steve was gonna call him on it. Chewing his lip for a minute, Hargrove’s eyes dart around the room. Then, slowly, like he’s sounding out the letters, he grumbles, “… Arnold.”
That sounds… familiar. Why is that familiar? Wait a fucking second. “Like the Terminator guy?”
Hargrove bristles, crossing his arms defensively. “Yeah, Harrington, like the Terminator guy.”

Billy comes back from the dead, Steve gets strong-armed into letting him crash on his couch, and more or less winds up championing the asshole’s character development. (Also, there’s a baby somewhere in the mix.)

Billy only needs one thing in life, and that's knowing Max is safe. Neil stays off his back, Susan can quit compulsively cleaning the house out of stress, and Billy can sleep at night knowing Max is in his nest, safe and sound.
He doesn't expect to start to feel that same need extend towards her little pack of runts. And he certainly doesn't expect to have to fight Steve Harrington over it.
OR: Secret omega Billy has a soft spots for shitheads.

Summary
As if being the designated babysitter wasn't enough, Steve finds himself accidentally becoming the group's designated birthday baker. Not that he minds - he likes to feel needed, plus it's a good distraction from the nightmares that have plagued him since that fateful night at the mall.
He does mind, however, the fact that Billy Hargrove seems to be weaving his way into the group. He's apparently had a personality transplant since the Mind Flayer nearly tore him apart, or so the story goes, but Steve isn't duped. It's fine, though, he can carry on ignoring the guy and ignoring the way his face still tingles with the ghost of Billy's fists.
But then, get this.
Steve has to bake Billy a birthday cake, too.
