Summary
In this world of ordinary existence, being born without any superpowers is the epitome of normalcy — that is, unless you find yourself navigating the corridors of an academy exclusively for kids with supernatural abilities. That's Louis' reality— being the ordinary one in a group of seven extraordinary children picked for a purpose much bigger than themselves. These kids and this stringent academy are all Louis has known in the name of family and home.
Eighteen bittersweet years, some forged friendships, and a tragedy later, the academy falls apart, leaving everyone with the only option of moving on. And Louis does so, all in the hopes of escaping the ghosts of his past, especially a certain curly-haired boy.
What happens when all of them return under the same old roof after seven years? The answer is, definitely not a happy family reunion.
Louis could prepare for all of it; bitter family members, traumas of the past, an old love, and whatever life-altering secrets that will unravel during this visit, but how does one prepare for... possibly the end of the fucking world as we know it?Or an Umbrella Academy AU with a good portion of gay romance.
