    When Sam came back to the facility to shut down the Goa’uld forceshield, she'd expected to find Colonel O’Neill. She had actually planned on it. No man left behind.

    But Sam hadn't expected to find a 12 year old kid named Daisy, who was somehow immune to Hathor’s breathing virus and... who had also rejected and killed a Goa’uld symbiote– Hathor herself, when Hathor had tried taking her over as a host.

    She and Col. O'Neill had brought Daisy back home... and then things had gone wrong. Daisy was dying. Desperate, Sam and Jack used Ancient Technology to save Daisy, setting off a chain of events that would change their lives, the SGC, Earth, their galaxy and the universe.

     

    Daisy didn't remember much from before Hathor had woken her up and tried to take over her body. Just her name and a few other things.

    The next time she'd woken up, she'd met Sam and Jack. They'd escaped back to Earth, and she'd tried settling in there... and the next thing she knew, Sam and Jack had done something that changed things between all three of them.

    She'd gained (regained?) her powers... and now, Daisy had to grow up- again (puberty, ugh.), but hey! atleast she liked the Stargate Programme and the SGC.

    Summary

    An SGA/SG-1 AU that spins off from the Ori arc that runs through Seasons Nine and Ten of SG-1 by changing one simple thing: the Ori don't lose. Earth is the last significant planet to fall in the Milky Way, but fall it does. Hard.

    After Earth's fall, a large resistance movement was active, utilizing Daedalus, the only surviving SGC carrier, as its main instrument. Running raids in the Milky Way and bringing refugees and supplies to Atlantis, Daedalus was the only lifeline between the two galaxies. Eventually her luck ran out and she was nearly destroyed by an Ori armada; after limping back to Atlantis, she is no longer flight-worthy and Atlantis is finally truly alone.

    Over in Pegasus, Atlantis was first a long-distance witness and then a rear echelon for the escalating fight with the Ori over the Milky Way galaxy before becoming the final retreat for those who survived the defeat. Cut off from Earth and forced to revert to its (Season One) status as isolated outpost responsible for its own needs, Atlantis still has the responsibilities it has assumed in Pegasus -- defeating the Wraith and protecting those who can't help themselves -- while also awaiting the inevitable arrival of the Ori.

      An excellent fusion 'verse (with just added daemons, no HDM plot or characters), well-thought, packing plenty of emotional punch and plotty action, as long as you're okay with some non-linearity and experimental narrative formatting, as well as OCs and alt-PoVs. I'm quite enjoying it, and hope there will be updates before too much longer, though of course that's in the hands of the author and the vicissitudes of fate.

      [Re]read the completed parts, 8/'25, and this time also read thru the current endpoints of obsessional (Ch.24, a sub-arc McShep happy ending), and endex (Ch.7, a mainly-OCs cliffie — well, Jennifer Hailey is an SG-1 minor character), both of which to-be-concurrent stories are roughly at the midpoints of their respective gappy rough drafts.

    This is my very first work in fanfiction. I'm excited, but nervous! I don't own these characters. This is my interpretation of them."Home" is a Stargate SG-1/Atlantis fanfiction original short story. It takes place the year after Colonel Samantha Carter takes command of Atlantis. It does provide an alternate path for her from the canon line. Even though Carter goes to Atlantis well after the SG-1 episode Threads, all of us Jack/Sam shippers knew them to truly be together shortly after Threads. This is a Jack/Sam Romance work of art. This contains adult themes with graphic, consensual, marital sex.

    I decided to make this a finished work. This was intended to show the progression of Sam and Jack's lives after Atlantis, and them finally coming 'home' to each other after a few years of living apart. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did writing it. Thank you.
