You giggle and cup Caleb's cheeks. “Pretty.”
“Hm?”
“…eyes are pretty.” You lean in and kiss just above his right eye. “… my Caleb is pretty.”
“And you’re drunk, pipsqueak.” His tone is practical, yet you sense something beneath it, a tension, or even anger. You pout and tap your foreheads together.
“… don’t be mad at me.”
“I’m not mad at you.” He strokes your hair; touch gentle. “I’m just plotting what I’m going to do to the person who gave you those drinks. I’ll need names, you know.”
“…no.” You kiss him again, this time above his left eye. “… you get mean.”
“And whose fault is that?”
You blink, goosebumps spreading down your spine. Something is wrong with him. You wonder if you’re hallucinating, because the way he looks right now is nothing like the boy you know. But it’s still Caleb, hallucination or not, and he would never hurt you. Never grip your waist too hard like he’s doing now. Nor would you ever consider doing what you’re about to do.
(In which a high-school aged MC was given alcohol and cute, angsty shenanigans happen. Both characters are underage and nothing past kissing happens. Dubcon consent tag is for MC, not Caleb)
