The blunt words hit Buck like a physical blow. His cock twitched in his jeans, interested before his brain could fully process what Eddie had just said.
"Jesus Christ," Buck breathed, his hand tightening on his beer bottle. "You can't just—Eddie, you're drunk."
"Not that drunk." Eddie leaned forward, elbows on his knees, hands clasped together. "I've been thinking about this for weeks. Months, maybe. I see you and I—" He broke off, a muscle jumping in his jaw. "I need to know. And I trust you. So please."
"You've been checking me out," Buck said slowly, watching Eddie's face. A flush crept up Eddie's neck, confirming what Buck had suspected."
"You weren't." Eddie's voice was rough. "So will you? Will you help me figure this out?"
Buck's cock was definitely on board with this plan, already half-hard in his jeans. But he needed to be sure—needed Eddie to be sure. And he needed Eddie out of his own head, because he could see the wheels turning behind those dark eyes, Eddie trying to analyse and control something that couldn't be controlled.
