    Summary

    In an alternate Dragon Age universe, mages and templars are bonded through ancient spiritual traditions meant to balance magic and nullification.  However, as the Circle become more corrupt, the balance favors the templar knights and leave mages at their bond’s mercy.

    Lyrium-branded Cullen Rutherford has not found his mage bond, a thankful fact after major life-changing events.  Hoping to still serve his holy Order in Kirkwall, the Fereldan knight shipwrecks on Epona Isle, owned by Ostwick’s House Trevelyan.  He meets Evie, the bann daughter who is quickly means more to Cullen than he ever imagines.  Even when running from destiny, fate will find the pair and set them on a grand mission to rebalance Thedas.

    Rebalance creates a Soulmate AU Thedas that adds new twists to the games’ whirlwind stories.

    Summary

Almost everyone in the newly established Inquisition equates to her past.

    Cullen Rutherford left his templar past in Kirkwall, seeing the Inquisition as an opportunity to atone for his misguided mistakes. The horrific experiences throughout his adult life swayed him away from connection with others, hoping to hide his internal torment.

    However, something draws the fire mage and former templar together. Cullen is always near when Evie falls apart, while she lessens his lyrium withdraw and brings light to his dark soul. Love grows from common ground and the desire to heal old wounds. Follow these two people as they fight the chaos swallowing Thedas and within themselves. Not all battles are visible, especially when the secrets are sealed by the divine.

    Together with their eccentric friends, Cullen and Evie must navigate a stringent society to improve their people’s wellbeing, while overcoming their own faults.  True happiness and love blooms when Evie learns to never judge a book by its cover.
