Summary
It was said that all good things must come to an end, but Alastor had never been one to put stock in such things, or believe in nonsense like fate. What you wanted you made or took with your own two hands, by force, fighting tooth and nail if necessary. So it had been in life, so it was in death. Hell was really no different to Earth in that regard, for one not born to privilege.
Keeping something that no longer wanted to be kept, though - well, that was another matter.

Summary
Hell is usually not so bad for Alastor. He is so powerful that there is always plenty of music, booze, and people to snack on. So powerful he can afford to ignore the annoying little things like being 500 miles away from Pentagram City, being in the company of a once-friend, and drinking some tainted water. But then everything adds up against him, and he suddenly has to come to terms with a lot of feelings he is unused to.
Alastor can hardly believe it, but if Vox doesn't stop behaving halfway decent, then there is a real chance that Hell is going to start feeling like a real punishment. (Radiostatic fuck-or-die)

Summary
Alastor let out a pleased hum and gazed at Vox with a slowly unfurling smile; he could be gracious in his victory, and Vox had already as good as lost.
“You goddamn cheat,” Vox said, and the distorted buzz as his breathless voice caught was immensely satisfying. “But,” he swallowed and seemed to gather himself again, though his smile was a fritzing, inconstant thing, slightly rueful. “I guess I should say congratulations.”
“Whatever for?” Alastor asked lazily, tugging Vox slowly, insistently back towards himself; when he brought his knee in, Vox followed - the grip on his foot had only loosened slightly, and seemed to regain confidence as Alastor raised an eyebrow. “Surely you don't think we're done here, Vox, I never took you to be such a quitter!”
It was just a game - and one that Alastor intended to win.
The first chapter is the complete fic in Alastor's POV. The second chapter will be the same events from Vox's POV.

Summary
Vox hadn't even realised they were fighting until it was too late. Well, no, that wasn't quite true. Vox just wasn't used to caring. It could hardly be called a fight when only one party involved gave a shit, after all, which had generally been the usual state of things. He’d always quite enjoyed pissing people off.
The problem was that Vox now did give a shit - at least when it came to Alastor. Which rather complicated things.
