    Summary

Only when Ghost was blessedly shielded by shadows did he dare turn around, knife in hand, to greet the beast.

His breath caught unwillingly in his throat.

    Large.

Ghost had always known that the Na’vi were big. It was perhaps the greatest point of intrigue for their species to those who knew little more than side-by-side comparisons. The Na’vi were massive in theory…but it was an entirely different topic to tackle when one was staring directly at where Ghost lay in hiding.

    . . .

Ghost came to Pandora to die amongst unseen stars. He didn't care for his Avatar body - the body Tommy was meant to pilot before he died - he just wanted rest.
Unfortunately, after his transport crashes on the surface of Pandora leaving him stranded, he's forced into wars he swore off when he left active combat. The Na'vi are brutal, but they are not unkind as they pick up the broken pieces of him and remind Ghost...

His heart is warm so long as it is beating.

    Summary

    “Anyone catching your fancy?”

Simon let his eyes roam the pit again. On the far side, against the cold slab of concrete wall, two figures lingered in conversation. One scrolled his phone between glances, a cropped black tee hugging his frame, muscles shifting beneath warm brown skin each time he readjusted his stance. Attractive, sure - but it was the other one that made Simon’s pulse tick up.

He was tall, maybe six foot, six-one at most. Still shorter than Simon’s six-four, which only made it better. Pale skin flushed from heat, a shadow of stubble darkening his cheeks, and a mohawk that somehow suited him perfectly. In one hand he nursed a cup of something dark, wrist catching the strobe lights with the flash of a silver bracelet. His shirt clung indecently, fishnet panels giving teasing glimpses of his torso. Black jeans framed his legs - frustratingly opaque - until Simon caught the faint gleam of metal at his chest. Silver. Pierced nipples.

“Christ,” Simon muttered, pointing him out to Price. “Dunno how I didn’t notice him until now.”

    Summary

So, Soap’s a big guy. Obviously.

He’s not overly tall, but he’s wide in the shoulders and thick in the thighs. He’s the kind of big that’s naturally built all over: training muscles on top of mission muscles on top of an innate bulk.

He’s the kind of big that makes him immovable to most guys.

The kind of big that’s always been -ger than most everyone else—if not by height, than at least by heft.

So when they’re on mission and Ghost spots a grenade before Soap does, and, with no time to warn him, grabs him by the waist and flings him back behind cover, gear and all, Soap’s really not expecting to think much about it, aside from maybe, ‘Oh, shit.’

What he thinks instead is: ‘Oh-hmm.

And then, in rapid succession: ‘Big.

    ------ ------ ------ ------ ------ ------

Or, Soap realizes that Ghost is bigger than him. His dick realizes that’s hot.

    Summary

"Soap!" Gaz snaps. "Get the fuck out of there and to the ship! I can't override the take-off, you know that!"

"Ah'm stuck," Soap admits, swallowing harshly. "Coilhead in front of me, bracken behind. Can't move."

"Damn it," Gaz rasps, his voice thick with grief. As their junker pack Alpha, he takes their personnel losses hard, and Soap has been running with Price and Gaz for months now. Enough for them to bond, for them to get used to one another, to feel that close connection all packs share back on the last planets that still support human life the way it used to be. "Soap, I can't… I…"

"Get to the Company, turn in the quota," Soap demands, his voice steadier than he feels. "I'll try to find some power to keep my walkie on. Then…if ye can…"

"We're coming back for you," Gaz says sternly. "We're coming back. Don't die on me, Tav."
