Summary
Martyn knows now that they kill everyone they can leave, and he should go his own ways but after everything that happened here? He is not too keen to leave alone, worst because he knows now how actual connections can feel, so maybe he tries to convince Renhardt with some manipulation to let him follow him.
This is his journey trying to find what he would do now after his whole life was turn 180 degrees and how he tries to keep up a fake life for the only need to not lose his only friend on the way, and maybe, he finds a deeper connection on the way. And unknowingly to him maybe even Ren himself is thinking the same but falls for his deception so much that it will end with both more hurt than expected.

Summary
"Do you think in another universe we are not fearing for our lives?" Martyn asks as his head is still tilted towards the forests, or well, what's left of said forest. A beat passes where Ren doesn't respond and so Martyn turns giving him a questioning look, because as much as Martyn is afraid and genuinely unsure of what their future looks like, one thing he is glad for is... Having met some of the people here, such as Renhardth.
"Uhm," Ren responds with the curse accent of his, he is hugging his legs as he too looks towards Martyn, ignoring what they're suppose to be doing up here. "What do you mean with that, Mr. Woodhurts?"
