Summary
At the twilight of the Second Age, as Sauron's shadow lengthens, the Elven lords forge alliances in the oldest way: through marriage. Círdan the Shipwright pledges his children to secure the future, his daughter Meríliel (main OC) to the legendary hero Glorfindel, and his son to the House of Oropher. However, Meríliel finds herself drawn to Oropher's grandson, Legolas, and their choices will force them to live with consequences through tragedy, pride and loyalty that will haunt their paths for centuries to come.
A telling of forbidden love, old grudges against the Noldor, tragedy and redemption, woven into the canonical history and politics of Middle-Earth, featuring original characters woven into the gaps of Tolkien's lore, expanding cultural and linguistic aspects along the way.
This story is updated weekly, mostly based on The Silmarillion, Unfinished Tales and The Fall of Númenor. Original lore is also contextualized when relevant, detailing tweaks for clarity.

Summary
What if the Kidnap Fam went back in time and stopped the Silmarils from ever existing? What if the Ambarussar and the Peredhil twins met? What if they were the same age? (Spoiler alert, it's in the name). Good mix of hurt/comfort and fluff (loooooots of fluff).
Edit: Abandoned and available for adoption upon request. My opinions of the Feanorians complexified as I got older and I really don't have the patience and drive to rewrite the whole story. Summary
Several years ago, a postdoctoral student named Elizabeth found herself landing in Middle Earth, a place that she had read and watched many times before. Only, this Middle Earth was different- darker. The Last Alliance of Elves and Men never happened for the elves abandoned mankind by forming a secret truce with Sauron. Mankind eventually won the war at great cost and quickly turned on those who betrayed them, the elves. Now, all elves in Middle Earth are hunted, and those caught are enslaved.
In this strange and dark version of Middle Earth, Elizabeth found her way to Minas Tirith, became a heralded healer, and eventually her medical skills, knowledge of Middle Earth, and whits granted her the honorable position of Head Advisor to the King. For many years she has served Gondor well and fallen in love with this magical- if at times barbaric place. Yet, all this changes when an elf she recognizes shows up. Now, she finds herself navigating the dark waters of politics whilst trying to keep both her morality and responsibilities in tact.
What will happen when she finds herself the master of an elven slave she never wished to own?

When bookworm Hazel Lee finds out that her friends have all somehow ditched her on their winter retreat to her Uncle's cabin in the Colorado Rockies, she thinks that she's going to be in for 6 weeks of tea, books, snowy hikes, and some well deserved peace and quiet. What she doesn't expect is for a pair of fantasy characters with darks pasts to find their way to her cabin and throw all her plans for peace (and definitions of reality) into a tailspin.
Before she knows it, a certain Balrog slayer with a bone to pick with Feanorians makes an entrance.
If that wasn't bad enough, the Fellowship of the Ring decides to come knocking and Hazel is about ready to throw in the towel.
Will Hazel be able to prevent a fourth Kinslaying?
Will she manage to keep the future separate from the past?
And most importantly... will she be able to feed four hungry hobbits?A.K.A. I've been writing too much angst and I needed some humor. This is pure fun. Expect it to get absurd.
