Summary
Aragorn is left a shell of himself after the War. Arwen took her father's advice and betrayed the fragile hope she and Aragorn had built together. Sailing for Valinor, she left Aragorn open to political games and scheming as far as his marriage was concerned. When a widowed Princess of Harad is presented, he is closed off and unprepared to be her husband or even her friend. What will two such unlikely people be able to create in the wake of a War that violently pitted their people against each other?

Summary
This is a series of LOTR fan fiction stories, jointly written by @what_katy_did_1234 and her other Tolkien tragic friend (who is modest and does not want to have a profile). At first we started to “fill the gaps” in canon - but then it got a whole life of its own, and we started to follow the lives of Faramir and Éowyn’s children - this took us in unexpected places.

It suits him even less to have said impromptu murder investigation spearheaded by a woman he best remembers as a little girl on a too big pony. But Lady Lothiriel is little Lola no longer. Her mind is sharp, her flapper skirts are short, and she's not averse to taking the wheel when she has to. Literally. Perhaps, when the hand dragging you into intrigue is as dainty as hers, all of us might stumble and fall. The question is, perhaps, just what have they fallen into - and can they solve a murder without allowing it to distract them?

Summary
The damage done to Rohan after the War of the Ring was terrible to behold. By some miracle, Éomer's first winter as King of Rohan was relatively uneventful, but it left Rohan with virtually nothing, on the brink of starvation as his people scrambled to survive and build a new world.
In the meantime, Éowyn is getting married, and is floating on a cloud with Faramir of Gondor. Their new home in Ithilien is being prepared, and Éomer and his éored have made the journey to Gondor for the wedding. One morning, a week before the wedding, Éomer justified going for a quick ride with his sister to himself with the knowledge that his mind would break under the strain of work without rest for over a year - yet on this beautiful morning, Lothíriel, Princess of Dol Amroth, bursts into their lives like a whirlwind.
Éomer can't help but think she might be just the solution to his problems, and Lothíriel cannot help but agree, despite the fact that she does not love him... but all is not as it seems. The War of the Ring was but a year ago, and danger still lurks in dark corners of the world.
