'Erend!' Zo hissed, mortified, while Talanah glared daggers at him across the fire.
Quirking an eyebrow, Kotallo pinched a mushroom between his teeth and slid it delicately off the end of the skewer. 'Only on Fridays.'"
In which Kotallo reaches the Base, meets some of his new squadmates, and unwittingly makes a friend.

"'Commander. A moment?'
Aloy looked up from her desk to see Kotallo lingering like a spectre in the doorway. His arm was held behind his back, his posture stiff, and his expression seemed almost nervous, an odd look for the normally unflappable Tenakth warrior.
'You don't have to ask, you know that,' she said, swiveling her chair around to fully face him. 'Something on your mind?'
'I… Much, yes.' He stepped inside awkwardly, angling his body to keep her from seeing whatever was clutched in his hand. 'In my efforts to further my knowledge of the Old Ones, I came across fragmented records of a… festival, of sorts. It was held by some of their warrior clans, in remembrance of a conflict called the Battle of Valentine.'
'Battle of Valentine? Sounds interesting, and also right up your alley.'
'Indeed. According to GAIA, this 'Valentine's Day' was observed annually on the fourteenth of February. And…' He shifted his weight from his left foot to his right, the unpainted skin at the base of his neck and the bottoms of his ears pinkening slightly. 'Seeing as today is the fourteenth of February, I thought we might experience it together.'"

My stories have happy endings and are for sure gonna brighten your day a bit. For those of use who are hopeless romantics and don't mind a little obnoxious sugar in what they read.
I go at a story with a prompt, or an idea before I start and I update near daily at the moment. I finish every short story within a day or two from starting it.

Aloy returns to the Base hoping to get some well-deserved rest, but constant nightmares lurk in her mind. Will she continue to struggle alone against them or let a certain Oseram past her armor to bring her comfort?
Basically, Aloy has nightmares about her past and Erend just wants to help her however he can. This could technically count as a kind of 3+1 fic of 3 times Aloy has nightmares and 1 time she doesn’t.
