“damn, i love how you look in red.” he shakes his head slowly as if genuinely appreciating it, and though akaashi wanted to kill him every second of every day, he couldn't help the bloom of carnations beneath his cheeks at his gaze.
he scowls, looking away sharply as if trying to spot their friends through the crowd, though they were already making their way towards them.
“i hate how you look in general.”
“still as charming as ever. even after dating for a week.” bokuto has a sickeningly sweet smile on his face and akaashi resists the urge to roll his eyes right out of his skull as bokuto kisses him right near his mouth, knowing someone was looking.
overkill, as always.
“fuck you.” akaashi smiles and bokuto grins back harder as he hums, leaning into akaashi's touch as he holds his cheek, swiping his thumb over it while the other has his hands on his hips, pressing their noses together.
“i’m sure you’d love to.”
five more days of this shit. akaashi thinks he might just die before then.

“don’t call me that.” akaashi shakes his head and stands up, the nickname making a fuzzy itchy feeling prod at his chest, caught somewhere in between annoyance and flattery at the same time. “i’m leaving.”
“already?” bokuto pouts, getting under akaashi's skin quickly becoming one of his favorite pastimes, given the circumstances. “what a terrible roommate.”
