He lingers at the front door, staring at the empty kitchen. It's seven in the morning. At some point in the past, his brothers would've been down here, one passed out on the table, the other humming to himself as he made breakfast. They were twins. They graduated high school the same year. They moved out the same year, too. They were always itching to fly, even if it meant leaving Tommy behind in the process.
Tommy still has both feet pressed firmly on the ground.
Not today, though. Today he's going to stretch his wings.
Well, maybe Icarus dying before his wings could melt wasn't such a great analogy, because Tommy plans to fall.

Summary
Tommy only remembers a few years of his life, plus a couple of short memories from his childhood, and his best friends are in the same situation.
They only know their lives in the hero-hopeful training program where they met at twelve years old.
But Tommy's world is flipped on its head when the Syndicate unmasks him and calls him Theseus. The villains capture him and learn what the heroes do to train young children into hardened warriors.

Summary
The first time Tommy woke up with an old name in his mind, it was trapped half way down his throat. The sugar remained in his blood but still he screamed, as though a nightmare was worming its way through his mind and forcing him to reach out for someone unknown. He felt the yell in his chest as he awoke, entrenched in his lungs and plaguing his mind as though they had always lived there.

Before the boy can stand once more, a face peeks over him.
Curly brown hair frames the person’s face, hanging on either side of his cheeks as he looks down with a vaguely concerned expression. It gravitates towards confusion though. Once again, the boy finds that he does not mind.
“What the hell?” the altered expression of speech is spoken in a bright manner. Vibrant, like the sky. The boy leans towards its familiarity. “What’re you doing all the way out here?”
The boy blinks. He does not remember. He has no other answer aside from that.
“I don’t remember” admits the boy to the stranger.

Summary
What had happened? Tommy wracked his brain, trying to gain any sort of explanation of what happened. He was baffled, he was scared. Because the more he thought about it, he couldn’t remember what he was doing last night, or the day before that, or any day. Just blank.
Or: Tommy forgets everything after November 16, 2020, and has to build back relationships with all these weird people while also figuring out his past. It's harder, more confusing, and way more emotionally draining than it looks.
Note: I started writing a while go so it is super past canon but who cares? The people wanted it, and I give what the people want :).

No. And when Techno comes to visit his little brother and say how the fact, that Tommy got exiled is hilarious, he is surprised to see a confused teen, who he has a strange conversation with. Techno gets an idea. He takes the opportunity of Tommy's lack of memory and wants to get something important through his brother's thick head

Tommy doesn’t remember. Tommy doesn’t remember anything except being a kid on the street before he had a family. Was he supposed to remember? What is no one telling him? Why is everyone expecting him to know what happened?
After the Explosion, Tommy’s memory isn’t the same. Either the head injury he sustained caused him to lose everything, or his brain is refusing to tell him the truth. He doesn’t know the difference. He must figure out who these strangers are while figuring out who he is, and that’s harder than it looks.
