There's a long silence from Ra's, and Tim uses the opportunity to look over some business email or another. Honestly horrible deal, but he's tempted to entertain it just to fuck with— Tim squints at the name on the email— Mr. Spencestar. Hm.
"You did not come to see me," Ra's says finally. "You have not even left Gotham—"
"Oh, no," Tim fights down a bout of laughter. "Are you alright? Your memory is usually better than this."

Over Cassie and Bart’s yelling and the metal band that Cassie insists is only good when played loudly, Kon can’t believe his own superhuman ears. He freezes mid-motion with the Coke can halfway to his mouth and the fridge door still open.
Tim rambles on with no care about Kon’s lack of response. Kon closes the fridge door and sets his drink down to be able to take in the man standing next to him. Tim just looks like himself. He’s dressed in the set of Nightwing PJs that Dick got him for his birthday. His hair is still damp from his shower with a towel slung over his shoulders. But Kon can tell he’s nervous by the way he talks like he is going to lose his words if he doesn't speak fast enough. “I’ve thought it through; it would probably be the best foot forward. Soulmate bonds were looked upon as a blessing. For they were rare and few and far between.
With the added presence of extraterrestrial lifeforms, there was a guarantee that it made it even more difficult to find any potential Soulmate that someone might have.
And of course, not all Soulmate bonds were the same, most differing in variety. The point being, it was very difficult to find one's soulmate if one did have them.
However, the media stated that it was always worth the effort. Soulmate bonds always worked out, either that be platonically or romantically, soulmates would be with each other for life.
So, what exactly did one do if their soulmate kept dying over and over again?
That was the question Bernard, Tim, and Wes kept asking themselves. Alternatively, Danny has no idea what's going on.

‘Cole felt like he was dreaming, walking through a thick haze, senses dulled to a deafening numbness. He couldn't feel anything. He saw leaves rustling, but he couldn't feel the breeze. He could barely feel the ground under his feet.’
I was blown away by the love I received for my recent angsty ball of Ninjago fanfiction; Just Breathe. So I wrote another one, this time focused on Cole’s time as a ghost. While Cole takes centre stage, there is plenty of Lloyd/Morro angst and Jay/Nya/Nadakhan angst mixed in.
The fic spans from the start of S5 until post S7. It is canon compliant, but focusing on the times in between. S6 in particular is treated from the team’s perspective, so skipped over completely (although the events are eventually discussed).
TW: There is violence, but it is only slightly worse than what you would expect in canon. There is discussions of rape. The rape itself isn’t graphically described, but it comes up multiple times. I will put an author’s note at the start of each chapter that is relevant.- Language:

But then he got shot with a spell which made JJ and Reid into more permanent mind-mates who have become their own people just inside his mind.

Summary
Sam’s awareness of ghosts extended to exactly two pieces of knowledge: Danny’s parents are ghost hunters, and ghosts are dangerous and she should stay away from them.
Unfortunately, neither of these things becomes something in her favor when she and Tucker are kidnapped by a ghost and turned into ghosts themselves— or half ghosts, apparently, something clarified to them by Amity Park’s resident hero Phantom, who also promises to stick around and help them figure out their new forms and powers.
But while Sam is certainly grateful for the help, now that she’s regularly spending time with their local ghost protector, she’s noticing things about him that seem a little more familiar than they should. And also that Phantom’s strong confident hero persona might be a bit more of a facade than anyone‘s realized.
