Summary
This is the story of Bruce Belmont, a boy with no memories who wakes up in the hospital in the town of Gravesfield and ends up living with Luz Noceda.

“Sure,” Daniel grinned, then turned to Rodney and slugged him in the arm.
“OW!” Rodney exclaimed, “What was that for?”
“Pushing buttons,” EJ and Daniel stuck their tongues out at him.
“I think you bruised my arm,” Rodney whined at Daniel, “You don’t always have to do what she says, you know.”
“Don’t be such a baby, Rod,” Daniel rolled his eyes, “You’re fine.”
“It was a love tap,” EJ insisted, “You want me to hit you for real so you can see the difference?”
“No,” Rodney scrambled behind Daniel, pushing him towards EJ, “I really, really, really don’t. Danny, make her leave me alone.”
“If I take the three of you to the cafeteria for some lunch before we go the conference room,” Sheppard sighed heavily, “will the comedy routine end?”
The three of them exchanged quick glances before turning back to Sheppard.
“Maybe?” EJ smiled.
“Probably,” Daniel shrugged.
“If there’s jello,” Rodney nodded.
“Blue jello,” Daniel specified.

Books are scarce and all knowledge is controlled by the ruling bodies. The remaining population lives in small cities and towns that are settled around a deep well. The lands in between are known as The Blasted Lands and demons roam freely. The bounty hunters try to keep the demon population in control but they can't stop them from returning once dispatched to hell.

“And you’ll show up on time for your interview with Mr. Woolsey,” Elizabeth smiled.
“And I will show up on time for my interview,” Rodney agreed.
"And you won’t insult Woolsey’s intelligence,” John added.
“And I won’t insult Woolsey’s intelligence,” Rodney grumbled, “Out-loud.”

“Yes,” Ronon set his empty bowl down.
“That won’t always work, you know,” Rodney waved his spoonful of jello at the taller man.
