Summary
"Ranboo slumped, a curtain of shoulder-length hair obscuring his face, slick with shimmering purple liquid, that sweet-smelling smokey tang of metal and jasmine, which- Techno realised with growing horror, which was Ranboo's blood.
Technoblade breathed in as he beheld his student. At his side was a zombie piglin, staying close to Ranboo's side, eyeing Techno with distrust. But Techno was more concerned about Ranboo. His protegee was bleeding from so many wounds, bruised all over his body, and shattered cuts from what looked to be glass in his skin.
His usual purple hue to his body had been replaced by an ashy-white, and there was blood trickling down his lips. Ranboo's breathing was slow and uneven, snow on his clothing, burns touching every surface of his skin. His skin was cold and clammy, shaking and trembling.
Techno's heart clenched, anger already coursing through his veins. In a low, gravelly voice shaking with anger, he lets out a growl. "Who did this to you?""
Or, Ranboo shows up at Techno's house half-conscious and bleeding. Techno is rightfully furious.

Phil should’ve been angry, Ranboo had caused a mess and a disruption. They had all let Ranboo stay with them and Ranboo would only constantly cause trouble. He was rarely able to help out and constantly ran into things and knocked them over. Ranboo didn’t understand why Phil let him stay here still.

"Yes you did!" Ranboo snapped, opening their eyes to glare at Tommy, looking him directly in the eyes. "You hate me! You've hated me since the day I got here! You-" Ranboo froze, looking to his fists that still held Tommy's shirt hostage, the short distance between the two of them; Tommy could see the moment regret hit Ranboo like a flash flood. He immediately let go, taking a quick step away from the appointed knight. "And you should. It's not like I've done anything for you." They said, stepping back until he hit his bed, sitting down and burying their head in their hands. "You probably think I'm trying to steal Tubbo." He whispered.
Tommy let out a resigned breath. "Yeah, I did."

"Ranboo hummed a bit, trying to understand vaguely. He got the basic idea of it. The actions were social cues that he hadn't learned yet, and if he copied them, then he would get weird half-hugs and pats and help, too. He just wasn't too sure how to be nice, in an Overworld way.
“What if someone isn't used to being nice?” He asked Philza. Best to use his only resource while it was there. Philza shrugged again, rolling his shoulders back.
“Well, it's a matter of learning, isn't it?” He looked over to Ranboo knowingly, who tilted his chin up in defiance.
“What if I- they,” He corrected himself, “Don’t want to learn how to be nice? They just want- they want things to be like how it was at home and they don’t want to change for everyone else because home was easy and this- isn’t.”
Ranboo’s words had initially started as something stronger, something more solid and spiteful, but by the time he reached the end of them, there was just- hurt."

The creature mindlessly reached further into the water, clawing at the sand.
“Ranboo?” A voice thrust the enderman out of his thoughts. Strong arms wrapped around the boys torso and pulled him out of the water. Ranboo thrashed around before they were dropped onto the grass.
Above them, Wilbur wore a worried look. “Are you okay, mate?”
The way the light hit him, the older man looked so much like his father, Ranboo couldnt help but notice. “I- yea-h. Im okay” He said, trying to dry his hands and arms off. They hissed as their shirt fabric rubbed against the open wounds.
