The tears he had been holding back the whole time were now finally spilling down his cheeks as he buried his face into Henry’s neck, breathing in his scent. The scent of home .
“Breathe, love. I’m right here. I’m right here.” Henry’s voice was in Alex’s ear, one hand under his ass to keep him upright and the other in his hair. “I love you so much, Alex. So much.”
Not even the steady tones of Henry’s voice could calm Alex down, he had broken the barrier and all the emotions he had been feeling up until then were all crashing down around him. He was hyperventilating, his vision going blurry as he dug his fingers into Henry’s scalp. He didn’t want to let him go, he couldn’t let him go. 💜
