    Summary

    All the fics in this sub-series are canon compliant. That is, they fit with frankencanon--a mix of mostly CQL | The Untamed and the Mo Dao Zu Shi novel, in translation.

    Chronologically, these fics begin with the Mo Dao Zu Shi characters' childhoods, move through their youths, the Cloud Recesses Lectures and Sunshot Campaign arcs of canon, and roughly up to the Burial Mounds Settlement Period.

    At that point, TEO-verse diverges from canon. Subsequent fics are in the main TEO-verse series, instead.

    That was the truth of it, really. Once he saw what she was really like, that she had no time for anyone else, even herself, he wouldn't want it anymore. "You don't need to be the one to deal with this. With me."

    it hurt to say. Wen Qing swallowed against a dry throat, not meeting Jiang Cheng's eyes.

    There was a long moment of silence. Wen Qing tried not to let the disappointment crush her, tried to hide how much she wanted him to keep arguing, keep trying, under a blanket of exhaustion. And she was exhausted. She was so, so tired.

    He was quiet for so long that she thought he wouldn't respond at all. The metal chair screeched abruptly as she shifted, deafened by their pocket of silence, broken only by the sounds of the kitchen in the back and the other people in the cafe.

    This is the sub-series for works in my TEO-verse that are fun, happy, sweet, uplifting, positive, or otherwise qualified largely as fluff!

    TEO-verse stands for Through Each Other; it's a canon divergence AU of MDZS frankencanon, starting from the Burial Mounds Settlement period, focused on fix-it the hard way, unfridging awesome characters, and exploring WangNingXian relationships. The AU is angsty but these fics are not!

    There may be traces of angst, as background, but these are fics that are intended to make you feel better by letting you see the characters having a good day. Some works might have relationship-focused or mildly explicit content, but the focus is on general audiences type works, with a joyful tone. Expect chosen family feels, community, friendship, music, tea, cats, rabbits, queer and/or disabled characters experiencing validation, and so on.

    Reading these fics won't give you a clue as to the overall plot, sorry.
