Summary
A year has passed since Star Fox had defeated and stopped the Aparoid invasion with their Queen. Despite Corneria being restored, an illness has been discovered from the Aparoids’ wastes. An unknown scientist has made appearance to be in charge for a cure which could lead into future troubles.
Fox McCloud learned about an ancient and extinct hybrid breed from Macbeth. Being in constant reminder of said civilization and getting closer to Wolf O’Donnell, Fox notices the common traits of the crossbreed creatures from his partner, revealing the lupine’s true identity.
Upcoming struggles landed to threaten the Lylat System once again. It’s time for both rival teams of mercenaries to cooperate in order to save the world from its mysterious enemy.

I have taken that story, and reinvented it. This is a more serious take on the Star Fox mythos, from it's very beginnings to the aftermath, taking us from Fox and Falco rooming in the Flight Academy to Fox and Falco dragging each other out of the wreckage of a burning galaxy...
NOTE: This story will NOT be 100% in character. I want to use the characters and settings of the Star Fox universe to tell a story of war and peace, and how a group of four elite fighter pilots bonded in the trauma of the Great Lylat War. Please remember that this is a fanfiction. If you want exact adherence to the canon, play the games.

He's recently bought himself a new house, one secluded in a small community about an hour outside of Corneria City. It's quiet and offers that plain but cozy lifestyle Fox has been trying to get himself to settle into comfortably.
Four weeks into living in his new house, he gets a call from his former enemy and rival, also retired, Wolf O'Donnell, asking for a place to stay. There's no where else for him to go. Fox, against his better judgement, says yes.

Star Wolf and Star Fox managed to not cross paths since their last encounter during the Lylat Wars, but ended up unexpectedly clashing again in Fortuna. This story includes the lead-up to this unexpected turn of events, and accompanies both teams henceforth, with a particular focus on their team captains, Wolf O'Donnell and Fox McCloud, as they try to find their place in the new Lylat System.

Comic crossover that shows the characters from Sonic The Hedgehog, Star Fox, Happy Tree Friends, Zootopia, Aggretsuko, Beastars and BNA: Brand New Animal living in a tribal setting, compared to their source materials. There will be many romantic moments here included.
The main relationships will be between a hedgehog with another hedgehog, a pheasant with a fox, a bear with a porcupine, a bunny with a fox and another bunny, a hyena with a red panda, a wolf with a dog and a deer, and a wolf with a tanuki. There will also be many other relationships present, but these will be the main ones.
Note 1: Here are includes characters of any species, be it mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, etc; regardless of the fact that some of these species haven't appeared in some of the franchises present in this comic.
Note 2: Brand New Animal's characters only have their beastman forms here. Their human forms don't exist, with the exception of one character who will have the human form, but not the beastman form.
Note 3: Although the fandoms that appear in the tags are the main ones in this comic. Characters from other fandoms will also appear that will appear little by little.
